Learn how to make your own wallet out of birch bark using traditional weaving techniques. In this class we will cover the etymology of birch trees in Minnesota, discuss how bark can be sustainably harvested and hand processed into usable materials, while designing and weaving a small card holder for yourself.

No prior weaving experience is necessary for this class! A great class to begin discovering your new appreciation of birch and weaving. The class fee includes instruction and materials fee.

Tools will be supplied by the instructor for the students to use during class. Students only need to bring their functioning hands and open mind.
